I dunno... Blue's Clues might have been the best children's program on at that time and it had a similar format.

One of the girls I nanny for hates that it doesn't give her enough time. I had to turn it off today because she started crying because Dora kept interrupting her.

She didn't have ENOUGH time to answer? That is kind of sad. When I was younger she gave me WAY TOO MUCH TIME. :/

She's only two. and she stops to think about it so its normally like "What was your favorite part?" "ummm ummm umm I like no I like the umm-" "That was my favorite part too!" "Stop it Dowa! Not done! *tears*"
