+280 In 1980, there were about 40,000 women who died of Breast Cancer. In 2010, there were about 39,800 women who died of Breast Cancer. I guess painting sports equipment pink isn't working... amirite?

If you compare the statistics of women dying of breast cancer against the world's population growth you will probably find there has been a significant improvement. There are more women at risk, yet less dying. I would say we're doing better.

It's not about painting stuff pink but through buying it you are supporting research.

Well it is a tad better, and it does raise awareness. BUT I do agree... The organization is mostly putting money in their pocket :/

You also have to consider the population has aged since then...c'mon OP, I know you possess more logic than that.

All the radiation in the air isn't helping the cause either. So more people are being saved, but sooo many more people are getting it. Research 3 mile island and breast cancer spike.

I don't think you understand the idea of funding and capital or how to acquire either of them.
