+24 There's a big difference between stereotypes and racism but alot of people think when you're being stereotypical you're being racist, amirite?

Being stereotypical would mean that the person is //being// the stereotype. Stereotyping would mean that the person is characterizing someone //else//.

No racism is thinking another race is beneath yours. Stereotyping is taking a race or a group of people and saying all of them are the same whether it be bad or good for example all Americans are fat and lazy and all asians are smart

I don't think that's the kind of stereotyping OP was talking about I also don't think it was about stereotyping in general I think the racism portion implies that the stereotyping is about a race this post could easily say there's a big difference between being stereotypical and sexist which would fit the comment you made
