+270 Runners: sometimes while running your legs start hurting and it seems like when you stop they hurt more then when you were running, amirite?

Why is this only to runners? I'm not a runner, but this happens to me too when I'm being forced to run in gym against my will...

Yeah, and you wish you had just kept going. I love knowing exactly what a post is talking about. :)

Buy compression pants/leggings. I use them for my 15km+ runs and they work so well, your legs never hurt and it helps you run a lot longer.

Yes! Also, when you're sore from running the next day and you go running again. I think it feels so much better than just hobbling around with sore legs.

Especially at the end of races, I'm like "Finally!! no more pain" And I still feel like I'm gonna collapse.

The same can be said for standing on your feet all day. They hurt while you're standing, but when you finally get a chance to rest they feel like they have bruises on the bottom of them. And don't even think about walking too soon, or it will hurt even worse.

If your legs HURT, you're doing it wrong. After a run you should feel energized, not exhausted to death.
