Drought in Texas (that's where I live). I'm happy because it means no neighbors launching fireworks while I try to sleep.

I can respect that, but if it's the eve of a holiday, I usually stay up since there's usually no work or school on the day of the holiday. So is it because fire thrives more in drier conditions or why is that?

Usually when we do it before then it's because we have family who can't make it to see fireworks. Because they have jobs and their own families, so in order to have fun with our loved ones we do some a day earlier. But no, you're right. Fuck me i suck and am a huge dick.

Well, there are some towns around mine that have them early. But it's not like they set them off all night...the organizers set them off from like 9 to 9:30 and then it's done. So I don't agree on the part that NOBODY should set them off before the 4th. However, when it's people down the block or in the next town over, yes, it is frustrating and bothersome when I'm trying to sleep. So I agree on the part that SOME people should wait to set them off.
