He got his country out of depression by posing a viable scapegoat that the people of his great nation could unite against. He saved Germany in a sense. His actions were horrible, but they were necessary to save his country. I strongly disagree with the end justifying the means.

"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me" - Bruce Wayne I personally don't really care if a politician would only take strong action against politicians resisting the tax raise on the wealthy just so the public would vote him in office and he could hold onto power for another term. As long as the right thing's getting done, I don't really mind ulterior motives that much. IF however, that politician then turns around and uses his second term to grant himself unfair and unnecessary gains, then we have a problem.
