+304 It's kind of annoying how Ash caught a Pidgeotto. Like, seriously dude, you're supposed to catch a Pidgey and train it. Amirite?

he can do whatever the FUCK he wants.

I think you're thinking of Gary Oak. http://www.geekstir.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/gary-oak-632x483.jpg

It's more annoying how Ash didn't catch a Hoothoot, and train it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

His Pidgeotto doesn't even look right. You call that a mullet?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What's more impressive? Catching a common wild Pokemon and training it to become a strong, rare Pokemon? Or catching a rare Pokemon in the wild? I think they both have their bragging rights.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Obviously the first one is more impressive, that takes skill and dedication. Catching a rare pokemon in the wild really just takes luck.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes, but you have to make sure you don't run out of Poke Balls or accidentally kill it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, but that's a lot less difficult than leveling up 15 levels

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How would it be considered if you can catch it's pre-evolution?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

But the Pokemon you catch at a high level won't have EVs and will be weaker. Pidgeotto isn't really that rare either.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Shhh! No one is supposed to know about those things! Besides. It's a fucking Pidgey. It'll suck with or without EVs. Get a Skarmory y

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Skarmory is a cunt, and anybody who doesn't know about EVs by now is retarded.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not everyone got that into the games. And yes Skarmory is a cunt, but most other flying types are either fragile or useless.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I never found flying types to be particularly useful. Besides Salamence, but he's not ou anymore.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well of course dragons. I don't really count then as flying types even though they are. But Staraptor isn't bad. Give it a Choice Scarf or Band, Double Edge, Close Combat, Brave Bird, U-Turn. If you're smart that can do some good damage.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Sure, you can get a good build, but most of the time you can get a better Pokemon instead.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I like using UUs though because they're less predictable. If someone pulls out a Ninjask you know EXACTLY where they're going with it. I actually Feinted one of those fuckers too. Not so tough when Protect doesn't block them.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Skarmory is a bad fucking ass physical wall. He's the star of my team.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's annoying how he got a Pikachu for his first Pokemon. He's supposed to get a Pichu and train it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's weird how Pikachu never evolved to Raichu.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There's a whole episode explaining that un

by Anonymous 12 years ago

... I don't remember seeing an episode like that. :/

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ash challenges the electric gym, Raichu beats Pikachu, Ash is like time to evolve Pikachu, Ash gets a thunderstone, Pikachu says no, ash uses pikachu's other 'skills' to beat Raichu.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I remember that episode.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Or you could keep the Pidgey from evolving and end up with a lvl 72 wild Pidgey. Just because.
