-14 recession is when your neighbor loses his job, depression is when you lose yours and recovery is when Obama loses his, amirite?

So Palin can snake her way into some sort of office and make it living hell to be a woman in America?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why don't we stop blaming obama for the recession bush created, especially when key indicators are finally up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the people that voted this comment down, really? they would comment and say you were wrong and why if you really were and not just because they don't agree. we were in a recession before obama came into office.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

actually I voted it down because the key indicators are not up

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We'll stop blaming Obama when he stops blaming Bush.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why should he stop blaming the person who is to blame.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not saying Bush isn't to blame. But he isn't the only one. It's everyone since Woodrow Wilson and the progressive era.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's not recovery when Obama loses his job, it's fate doing the world a favor.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't want him taking money from honest, hardworking Americans and giving it to people on welfare and illegal immigrants. America was built on hard work and determination. Welfare and social security were probably some of the worst things ever put here. And he can't just think being nice will get you what you want. You have to fight for it. Fight for your rights and freedoms. Don't let anyone take those away from you. Oh, and Clinton put us into the recession with his policies. Bush was elected at a cruddy time, but his policies didn't help much either. Reagan was the best president. One of the best, at least. I don't like Sarah Palin much either, but she definitely has a good idea. She just won't be able to execute it properly.

america was in great condition with clinton, he was a great president.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You mean Reagan's policies made his term SEEM great, when Reagan should get the credit. And Clinton's policies that put money [temporarily] in pockets made his presidency SEEM great. But Clinton's loan policy put us into this recession in the first place. So Clinton was an awful president.

(Anonymous):give me real proof and not just your word and i'll bite my tongue.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Would you like to google it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

would you post a link, I wouldn't know what to google.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"Clinton's policy" "Reaganomics" And something about when they took effect.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"I don't want him taking money from honest, hardworking Americans and giving it to people on welfare and illegal immigrants." I couldn't agree with you more. Some people work so hard to get through college and get a job while others get so much handed to them, it extremely unfair

Obama and those associated with him are destroying this great country.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

this "great country" sounds like a bunch of selfish, gold-digging bastards. and I can say that, considering i live in the shitty country.if this country becoming a socialist country is what saves it, I welcome it. fuck democracy, cause we aren't choosing those in power, it's the damn big organizations. honestly, there's a difference between having pride for your country and just being a blinded idiot, you should learn it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Socialism will end this argument, not by making our lives better and therefore proving you right, but by taing away the recources and rights to protest something in the first place. Be happy you can actually say you are dissatisfied.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

look, all I'm saying is democracy so far is not working. I went on a bit of a rage, sorry. also, obama has done nothing to make this worse. in fact, he's improving it, although very little. the war is draining US money, foreign oil is draining US money, obama is doing the best he can out of a crappy situation. the blame might not be completely on bush, but you can't deny he is partially to blame.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're crazy. Democracy HAS worked. For over 200 years. And how the hell do large organizations come into play? The people who *vote* have the power. Believe it or not, but every vote counts. We all have a say. Socialism will take our power in the government away, and like someone once said[I can't remember who], "Socialism will fail because you eventually run out of other peoples' money."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

democracy has failed because the people in power just care about getting into office again and getting money from lobbyists. I don't care what form of government we have, as long as these large organizations will be forced to stop lobbying. the reason some laws have and haven't been passed is because these large companies paid the government officials, and they don't like that bill, so, to keep the companies giving them money, they vote against the bill

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But that's corruption. EVERY governing system will have some corruption, especially socialism and communism. And what makes you think socialism will work? Did it work for any other country?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Canada isn't corrupt.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But from what I've heard from former Canada residents, it's a crappy country

by Anonymous 13 years ago

really? weird, i loved canada. everything was okay, somethings weren't the best, but they were more than enough for a comfortable life.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Then how come so many Canadians come to America for health treatment? Because their system is corrupt.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Canada isn't corrupt. Sometimes they go just to be extra safe. I can assure you that all doctors in Canada are excellent doctors. Y'all are pissed because if I hurt myself I can just go to the doctor and get that shit fixed without worrying too much about bills.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have no doubt that those doctors are excellent however their system is completely different and if you want to see a doctor the average wait time is 4 weeks to 3 months, some illnesses need to be treated immediately

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hence emergency rooms ;) Nah I'm only messing, I don't like people picking on Canada :/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yup I understand I don't like people picking on the US :) also I should probably stop this argument before I get trampled because honestly I only know a little about the Canada health system and I don't want to sound too ignorant :)
