+274 It would be really interesting if the world didn't end the way people expected it to in 2012. Like instead of the world exploding, all of the electronics (iPods, cellphones, laptops, cameras, ect.) shutdown for a day, and that would be the "end" of the world. amirite?

It would also be interesting if giant alien spiders ate us all.

unacceptable.

Similar to what people thought would happen at new years 2000, all electronics would shut down and nuclear missiles all over the world would randomly launch and destroy civilization.

Some people seriously wouldn't survive if electronic devices shut down for even a day (not counting people in hospitals for the sack of this example). Kinda sad.

Why not? It wouldn't be so hard. We'd live off of dry food like ramen for a while, walk everywhere...we'd basically regress to how we were before ramen. And I'm guessing people would definitely get more exercise. And mail would become more common.

SOME people. Most people would do fine. They might go a little crazy not being able to get in touch with some people, but some people would suffer because they don't know anything outside of their little computer world.

Oh, I didn't see the 'some' in there, haha. But yeah, that is sad.

That's what most people (that aren't radical and ka-ra-zee) think is going to happen. Something about the way we use our electronics is going to change.

Or it could be like in Donnie Darko where by "your world ending" they just mean your favorite person dies. Then only the unloved losers of the world would be left.
