+328 Instead of radio stations playing the same 10 songs over and over all day, they should just play a song ONCE during the day. That way, maybe they can play the other songs that are on an album instead of just the singles, amirite?

I don't even listen to the radio anymore because of that... I'd rather listen to commercials than the same songs on repeat.

Agreed, especially since the singles are rarely the best songs on the album.

In South Africa there is a radio station that's policy is they don't play any repeats and if you spot a repeat you can call in & you get a prize.

Once during a day? Because everybody sits around waiting for their song to be played...

Yeah but that's not how it works. The whole point in it being a single is one of its sole purposes is to be played on the radio to get people interested in the album and hopefully buy it. And anyway, stations have contracts with record companies stating they have to play a song a certain amount of times in an hour. If they break the contract they get in trouble.
