Toilers were made with the lid down. You buy toilets with the lid down. Toilets are always portrayed with their lids down. Keep the toilet lids down!

Girls want the lid down not because it's a huge hassle to put the seat down ourselves but because it's rather unpleasant when you unwittingly sit on the toilet when the seat is up and fall in! Guys aren't in that kind of danger if we leave the seat down.

I'm going to be honest here. That makes girls seem REALLY stupid. If you can't see that the toilet seat is up, then you had it coming to begin with. Hell, you probably don't even know how to lower the toilet seat yourself if it's that much of a problem!

Were kind of used to sitting down every time we go to the bathroom. Just because we don't check to make absolutely sure the seat isn't down every time does NOT make us stupid. We just aren't accustomed (and shouldn't have to) check every single time. It's not something you notice or think to look at after using the toilet ten million times.
