It should be required that people make a certain amount of money before having unprotected sex, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
How on Earth does this have a positive rating?
by Anonymous12 years ago
because it's a good idea asshole
by Anonymous12 years ago
Besides the HUGE ethical implications, how would this even be enforced? Would police just go around arresting poor pregnant women, leading to an even higher prison population and thousands of orphans? Or maybe they would just be fined, because fining people below the poverty line works so well. How is any of this a good idea?
by Anonymous12 years ago
shut the fuck up. obviously this would never fucking happen. Everyone who voted yes is obviously a lot smarter and more creative than you in that they can take current ethical standards out of the picture and enjoy the post as it is. It really fucking pisses me of when people like you take my posts too fucking seriously
by Anonymous12 years ago
Sorry but this really isn't funny enough to be a joke or thought out enough to be a good idea. Even as half joke and half serious it's still meh.
by Anonymous12 years ago
tell that everyone who homepaged this post
by Anonymous12 years ago
Attaboy, get a post homepaged, then act like a douchebag when someone who disagrees with you calls you out.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Some people will homepage anything. They have 50 votes. It's not like there's much of a worry over running out.

it's funny how you tell him to shut the fuck up, then say "everyone who voted yes is obviously a lot smarter and more creative than you" when all he did was come up with a good argument against your post.
then you talk about how it "fucking pisses" you off when people take your posts too fucking serious. well that's what happens when you make a post about a controversial subject. it's not a bad thing that people argue their point.
And from my point of view, if this isn't meant to be taken seriously, then how is it supposed to be taken? I mean it's not funny enough to be taken as a joke.
I think most people just agreed because they think that people having unprotected sex should be financially prepared if they do have a baby.
just a heads up, if you want to ever be taken seriously, it would help an immense amount if you didn't refer to anyone who disagrees with you as an asshole. "Because it's a good idea asshole" That immediately shows people that you don't take criticism well (which makes me excited to see how you respond to this essay of mine), it also shows you are unprepared for other counter-arguments, and it makes you look like a jerk.
and i understand I look...

cool story bro
by Anonymous12 years ago
not the response i was expecting from you haha.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I'd like to know how they would enforce this...
by Anonymous12 years ago
idk they should probably just make condoms cheaper
by Anonymous12 years ago
They give them away by bagfulls at planned parenthood, for free. And i've heard that they're trying to pass something so women on welfare or who use food stamps get free birth control. I agree with your statement, but too many people just don't bother to use protection, even if your throwing condoms at them. The idea is same as prohibition. You can outlaw and try to enforce it, but people will still keep doing it. Sad, really.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Except the condoms are crap, break easily, and are often too small.
by Anonymous12 years ago
too small lol. there is this form of birth control that's been proven 100% effective. It involves injections to both testicles, which sounds...
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah, I hate to brag, but they don't make larger sizes. And... no, just ow
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't know if you can hear this but to whomever's been homepaging all my posts: thank you ;)
