+635 From the amount of food served at Hogwarts, you'd think they'd have a school full of obese students, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, because it's a magical school, maybe the food is charmed, or maybe they only accept students with a high metabolism.

Abra ca liposuction!

And for their exercise, they sit down on a broomstick! What kind of a workout is that?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They do walk a lot between classes though. Just because a lot is served doesn't mean they all eat a lot either. I'd get sick of a huge buffet three times a day.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Honestly, the kids have to walk a good mile in between every class, not to mention the stair cases.

Maybe if the story took place in the United States...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

if it took place in the US, there wouldn't be uniforms, it wouldn't be boarding school, and voldemort would've been taken out with a machine gun. Also, the army would've been in on it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There are boarding schools in the US, schools that require uniforms, and i doubt Voldemort would be taken out by a gun. Also, the army is to busy in the middle east

by Anonymous 12 years ago

boarding schools aren't common in the US, and Voldemort would be the equivalent of bin laden then.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So in ten years they'd get him? You know my comment is about the US being so gluttonous, right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

yer.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If a wizard could be taken out with a gun they'd have tried that already dude

by Anonymous 7 years ago

It doesn't mean they eat it all. Perhaps they understand moderation.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's probably true for the majority but Ron sure didn't.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ron probably spent a fair bit of time "exercising" his arms in his dorms whilst thinking about Hermione and Madame Rosmerta.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

hello? Crabbe and Goyle :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They aren't really obese though, they're just gorilla-ish and muscle-y

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My question is if they can conjure up any food they want, or at least store it anywhere....why do they always eat the same stuff?
