I have CDO. It's like OCD but all the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
*alphabetical
by Anonymous13 years ago
Isn't that how it was spelled?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh my gosh. No. Enough with the frickin OCD jokes. It's not funny, it's terrible and it ruins your life. So don't make fun of something that you can't even dream about understanding.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Thank you. OCD made my life hell for a long time, and it's hard to hear jokes about it. It's weird to me that people make jokes about it. Why is OCD funny when depression or schizophrenia clearly aren't?
by Anonymous13 years ago
schizophrenia is hilarious.
by Anonymous13 years ago
so is bipolar disorder.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Not all bipolar disorders are the same...
by Anonymous13 years ago
People make fun of those conditions all the time, as well as many others. I'm not going to call judgement as to whether it is right or wrong, but I've had problems that I have made fun of, too. It helps lighten the mood. Not everything has to be super serious; sometimes we laugh at ourselves.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Thank you! People need to lighten up a bit. I have a disorder (I'm not going to name it for dozens of random people) that makes some things hell, but I make fun of myself about it all the time. And really, who doesn't have anything wrong with them?
by Anonymous13 years ago
cool your jets man
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm sorry. :( i didn't mean it like that!
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm just sick of everyone acting like it's a silly thing. It's not, it crushes you and makes your life so hard to live. Everything you do is controlled by it and people don't understand that. They joke around when one of their good friends could have it, it's not like people go around advertising it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
chill out
by Anonymous13 years ago
:(
by Anonymous13 years ago
Like Monk. But like Anonymous said, it's mean of you to say that. I know you didn't mean it in a mean way but still.
by Anonymous13 years ago
i luv that show. Monk is awesome
by Anonymous13 years ago
Please tell me I'm not the only person that cried in the finale.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yall need to grow up and understand the meaning of a joke. Who cares I'd u have ocd or not it was a joke deal with it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
its not funny when you get it off some one else...
this joke has been everywhere. -_-
by Anonymous13 years ago
you are being too sensitive. There are many jokes on here that are sexist or racist or poke fun at a condition or disease.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Gag i replied to the wrong one.
by Anonymous13 years ago
its ok. I understand. We all make mistakes.
by Anonymous13 years ago
This was funny. Don't sweat the haters, OP.
by Anonymous13 years ago
you go! people are taking this way too seriously, and i have NOT seen this before, so it was pretty funny.
by Anonymous13 years ago
i agree, this is funny, but it's been posted before.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I thought it was great.
by Anonymous13 years ago
oh gee. i haven't that one six million times or anything.
by Anonymous13 years ago
i haven't the whole world two five million times lol
by Anonymous13 years ago
Is it that hard to improve your grammar to the understandable?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I posted this first... A week ago
by Anonymous13 years ago
Look at the date this was posted. :|
by Anonymous13 years ago
how do u do that face?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wow . . . what a huge fail.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Like they said, its so not funny. Plus, this has been posted before AND its a facebook group.
by Anonymous13 years ago
WHAT THE CRAP is with all these repeat posts. I remember when I posted one that was similar to a different post (supposedly, I really don't even know, it was just deleted) and YET the same EXACT posts are posted everywhere and everyday. This is so old, too.
And yes, I checked the date on the post.
by Anonymous13 years ago
this post isnt that funny, only a little. its witty for whoever came up with it first.
by Anonymous13 years ago
ono
by Anonymous13 years ago
Lol the ad below is how to stop ocd
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah, it's because they're contextual. A script (or something similar) analyzes the page and finds keywords. OCD has been mentioned a lot here, so it finds an OCD ad from its database and feeds it through to this page.
/THE MORE YOU KNOW
Dude, this has been posted so many times. Why the hell is an such an unorginal, unfunny repost Post of The Day?
by Anonymous13 years ago
You guys act like you should be expecting anything better from the mods... obviously, this whole thing is a joke to them.
by Anonymous13 years ago
why is this potd? there are plenty of other (more) worthy posts than this.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh get over it it's only up for a fucking day.
by Anonymous13 years ago
seriously.there have definitely been some more offensive stuff on here than this.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I want to favorite your comment (:
by Anonymous13 years ago
<3
by Anonymous13 years ago
well now sir there's no need for the strong language.
i was just sayin.
the potd sets the mood for that day, so if i'm having a bad day and there's a really good potd, it lifts my spirits.
this potd was an "eh" on the whole spirit lifting thing, only because i've seen it before.
my aunt has ocd and she makes fun of it and makes fun of herself! She understand theres nothing she can do so she laughs about it. Seriously you people need to losen the fuck up and laugh a little. Its a fucking joke (even if it is old)
by Anonymous13 years ago
More like a dyslexic CoD player.
by Anonymous13 years ago
If you ignore all the crap like "repeat'' or ''hurtful" in it, it's funny. If you don't, well then it's not funny...
by Anonymous13 years ago
@351487 @351771 @351803 @351906 @440550 @440558 @440556 @440634
SandraWright is the original person to make this joke on this website. This is not unoriginal , lame , or a repeat post (440558 , you are an idiot , and that is the least offensive way I could have phrased that). Anthony , this is a great POTD , and this is a worthy (@440746) POTD.
I either didn't vote or voted NW on all other posts containing that joke , but this post deserves (at least some) praise.
by Anonymous13 years ago
They don't mean un-original meaning like there are more posts like this on amirite. They mean that its everywhere and this person didn't come up with it. Duh.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why do you have so many space between your comments?
by Anonymous13 years ago
NOT ORIGINAL, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
as is your comment, since about 5 other people have already said that. Thanks for playing, try again later.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Some of these trolls see all the people who agree, and all the people who favorited and instantly get jealous and bash the post because they wish it was theres. So sad.
by Anonymous13 years ago
There are so many jokes about sexism and racism and rape on here, and everyone choses to get upset over a post about OCD.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Dude... how come I have seen all of the Post of the Day's somewhere.. These aren't original. they suck :(
by Anonymous13 years ago
...I thought it was funny.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Sorry for my rudeness, it's just the rest of the comments are so annoying it was irking me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Sorry for my rudeness, it's just the rest of the comments are so annoying it was irking me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
If you had OCD you would spell "am I right?" correctly you fucking lying whore.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You're an idiot.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I love you.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You do realize that the "amirite?" is automatically tagged on when you submit a post, right?
by Anonymous13 years ago
SHUT THE FUCK UP CUMLICKER
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wasn't calling you any names or trying to imply anything. I was simply stating that the spelling of the "amirite" is out of anyone's hand. There's no need to insult me.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I have ODD. No not Oppositional Defiance Disorder, I"m just odd.
by Anonymous13 years ago
People need to lighten up about making OCD jokes, at least we're not calling you freaks and shunning you from society, we're just having a little fun
by Anonymous13 years ago
Kinda fucked I put the same one on it drew less than 5 votes
by Anonymous13 years ago
Wrong time of day, maybe?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Lmao. True. XD
by Anonymous13 years ago
To everyone who thought this was offensive:
People need to learn to laugh at their faults. We all have something wrong with us, some may be more apparent than others, but nobody's perfect. Once you can laugh at yourself, dealing with your imperfections will make life a whole lot easier.
Oh, and it's the Internet, people don't care about your feelings.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That'd be easier if this was actually funny.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Settle down, children. Every condition, race, gender, orientation, religion, country, idea, historical event, theory, belief, and anything else you can think of gets poked fun at every once in a while. This joke isn't saying anything negative about people with OCD, it's just a light-hearted jest. If you've never poked a little fun at something (Called something gay? Said someone is "acting black"? Made a joke about dyslexia?) then *maybe* you can talk. But I've never met anyone like that, so move along and stop being self-righteous drama queens.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I agree. I have OCD (mildly) and I thought it was funny.
It's just.. I've heard people say it like a billion times. It's kind of irritating...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Same here.
It is still funny to me, just a little repetitive. :/
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's understandable. Jokes get kind of tired when they get all repetitive and uncreative.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I fucking hate it when people are like "I have OCD, I have to have everything neat and in order"
I'm like
a) that usually just means you're a clean freak
b) OCD is ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOT more than just being neat & clean. I have mild OCD, and it causes me to do the stupidest of things.
NONE of which have to do with being neat, organized, clean, etc.
by Anonymous13 years ago
dude i know! but it does have something to do with having things a certain way all the time.
i have ADD, and people who have ADD also sometimes have OCD, but MY OCD very rarely makes me neat and tidy (and im actually very disorganized lol). my aunt is brain damaged and has it and it makes her obsessed with pirates of the caribbean and orlando bloom. Like, for real. She's been obsessed with it for as long as I can remember. That's my OCD makes me do, but instead of being fixated on one thing for my whole life, i will become insanely obsessed with one thing after another after another. It's really annoying because when i AM on one of my obsessions my friends get seriously sick of hearing about it :
by Anonymous13 years ago
Obsessed with orlando bloom & pirates of the Caribbean?
I think not
Yes I understand it's OBSESSIVE compulsive, however that's not how it works
also, what the fuck do you mean you get obsessed with things one after another?
get obsessed with t.v. shows? movies? songs? what?
by Anonymous13 years ago
(wutthafuk?): Um ok. Think whatever you want I guess, but that's how she is.
and idk! anything that I think is cool and interesting? do I really need to be specific..?
by Anonymous13 years ago
and if everyone who didn't have ocd, actual had it.....love to see how youd find it..yeah i do laugh sometimes about it but when it fucks yourlife for over 3 years..thought this site was better then mlia....
by Anonymous13 years ago
Calm down everyone. It's JUST A JOKE!
by Anonymous13 years ago
How is this the post of the day?? Way to steal a bumper sticker....
by Anonymous13 years ago
Prettysure everyone who thinks its funny are cheap cunts
by Anonymous13 years ago
Prettysure the post is just a joke and you're taking it too seriously.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm not a cheap cunt. .n.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You're a cheap runt!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Lol i know but it is funny..who cares its funny (:
by Anonymous13 years ago
this was hilarious about the first 10 times I heard it...
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't understand what you're trying to ask.
@442368 (PancakeMix): It is original to me even if it's a common joke. If someone posted a joke from my 1983 joke book and it wasn't a repost , I would homepage it without hesitation because it's funny. Sure , everyone has heard it at some point , but does that make it any less humorous?
by Anonymous13 years ago
What? I'm not asking anything.
by Anonymous13 years ago
This is the oldest thing ever. I've heard it like 50 times
by Anonymous13 years ago
This was funny the first 9001 times.
by Anonymous13 years ago
if i see/hear another OCD joke i think i am going to lose all the sanity i have left.
I understand that it is just a joke, and it is a little funny i have to admit. I smiled when i saw it.
But some people just get a little sensitive about things, like their OCD.
Having to see an OCD joke in your face is probably like seeing someone give you a middle finger. Some people don;t understand that OCD is not being organized all the time, like having things in alphabetical order. Its being obsessed, terribly obssesed that iit can control your life. So i guess when people who are suffering from OCD see ignorant posts/jokes that don;t really get the point of OCD they get a little mad. I don;t blame them... its like making a joke about cancer.
Its just the fact that this has been posted all over facebook and the internet i guess people got a little out of control becuase they wanted to stand up for themselves. I just wanted to make that clear with everyone.
Congradulations anyhow on POTD
by Anonymous13 years ago
2010 votes! :D summer 2010 is almost over):
by Anonymous13 years ago
I have OCD and I think it's ok to make fun of. They are't making fun of people with the disorder, they are making fun of the disorder itself. OCD is the enemy isn't it? Every body needs to lighten up. I heard this one from my friend Sam and I thought it was hilarious!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Can someone explain what OCD is?
by Anonymous13 years ago
You replied to my comment , saying (word for word) "Why do you have so many space between your comments?"
by Anonymous13 years ago
I think it's funny and true! Everybody even people with mental illness take themselves too seriously! I believe in the lighter - brighter side of things! You train your brain and its habits! Think happy be happy! So OCD or CDO - whatever, I laugh at myself as a way to accept and make non chalant and/or not so dramatic! Yea so I do things funny? Ok ok - I look odd to u - weired to her... Who Effin cares? Shit Mrs. NoRmAL does that like that and she didn't even check afterwards? Wtf? That's Effin weird to me! So what? Accept! Accept YOURSELF! Accept your differences! Be loved bc of those quirks! Stand out bc you are different not bc you trying or succeeding at being like EVEYONE else! That should be ridiculed! Mental illness is just a part of what is me! It's not me! Just like I have green eyes that hardly have sight. The color doesn't affect their strength just as the eyes themselves don't characteunrize ME! Get it? I hope so - bc if I say around feeling that I need to be "sheltered" from harsh words about my disease blah blah blah wtf? This stupid perception about what really is ego not pure character confidence - self discovery/truth/knowledge/Acceptance/LOVE/LIFE...A REAL LIFE! GBU
by Anonymous8 years ago
Sometimes, I think, family members of people with diseases or disorders are HYPERSENSITIVE! Like, always TRYING... Politically correct, that's offensive, shit like that. Because in order to live with a disorder - TO REALLY LIVE, with a disorder your ass would have had to accept - a long ass time ago! So naturally laughter is the best medicine! You get to appreciate "it's" characteristics and Hope when they show up - instead of cringing bc you know know by now, it's only a minuscule part of what makes you that fabulous you that you are today! So tell your fam - chill - I got this, it don't got me... Plus, your kinda making me feel like I have something abnormal and Unacceptable.. Don't do that! That's hurtful! That's offensive. Don't make excuses for me! There isn't anything WRONG with me! Just like your characteristic of this or that is not WRONG it's just what you do! That's it! Stop comparing! ACCEPTANCE & TOLERANCE - one world order for peace!
