No way. "online friends" you dont know who they really are if you think about it.. but your real life friends, you can touch them and they have real carbon bodies you can see. Thats as real as it gets. Oh yeah and theyre better than some internet geeks.

True. I'm just saying some of them do. I have this "internet friend" i've known since 4th grade that we met over neopets. We've been friends ever since and have been skyping each other for who knows how long. Let's just say, my "real life friends" haven't always been there and aren't as understanding as she is. I can not tell you how many times she's saved me from doing something stupid. That is something i know my RL friends would never do for me. So theres my story. I can understand why some people would disagree though.

My family moved a lot so I've actually known a friend that I met on online longer than I've known any of my other friends, and I've never met him in real life.

Yeah, and skyping with them is really cool, because you can actually have those awkward moments of silence.

My one and only true friend is a girl who lives on the other side of the country who I've never met in person. We became pen pals in the kid's section of an animal magazine about 5 years ago, then online friends as we got older. She's been there for me more times than I can count. She's a lot better than any "real-life" friends I've ever had.
