+258 It's unusual how a 2 liter bottle of soda costs less than a .5 liter bottle in a lot of stores, amirite?

It's like they make you pay for the convenience of having a bottle that can fit in a cupholder.

I've never seen a 500ml bottle costing more than a 2 litre one.

I find it funny how dollar stores sell 8 packs of Reese's Cups for a dollar while Kings Sized packs of Reese's with 4 cups costs $1.50.

They probably do that because if you're just out and about, you're not gonna carry a 2 liter bottle with you :D of course if you're bringing it home it doesn't matter, but still..

Maybe its because the 500ml bottle is cold?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

the 500ml is probably in a metal can

You're paying for the convenience (sp?) of it already being cold.
