-117 You just lost your earthquake virginity, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I actually did when I was like 8. I'm a slut, what can I say.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I would have never known there was an earthquake. It's not like people are posting about it on facebook every second. But seriously, that was cool.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

how quickly amirite responds to something like this or the earthquake?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The earthquake.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So I've heard *sigh*

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I take it you didn't get to experience it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

nope, stupid florida

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Most of us didn't even realize it was an earthquake because it just never happens on the east coast. I had to turn on the news to see what it was.

I was in Maryland outside a strip mall and the ground shook a bit for a couple senconds. I assumed it was just a passing truck or something. But my aunt was at my house and apparently they felt it and the water in the pool was sloshing around and stuff (they freaked out and ran out of the house). But my dad was about half an hour away in DC and didn't feel a thing. Weird.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah same as you I thought it was a really big truck outside, but then our chandelier started swinging back and forth so I knew it was something else. Then of course 2 seconds after it happened, I took to facebook and people were already talking about it :D

I haven't got a facebook, and I wouldn't have even known until I got home an hour or two later if it wasn't for my sister's friend. She lives in Virginia and texted my sister right away. I didn't believe her at first! But above all, always check Twitter first! You can count on those Tweeters to be sending tweets about how their ceilings are caving in during the apocalypse. #I'llGetHelpAfterIPostThis

Does your name mean a sexy wonderful companion cube?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I just got an e-mail from my father who works in NYC. He's "currently on the ground floor with thousands of other chickens". I didn't feel a thing here, forty miles away from there.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Hope he's okay. Also, chickens?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

He's fine, I think. And I don't know, it's old people lingo. My mom called him a chicken beforehand, what with the epicenter being in Virginia.

Prep for 2012 *shrug*

by Anonymous 12 years ago

what the fuck you be talkin' about? I'm in Wisconsin, we don't get earthquakes

by Anonymous 12 years ago

apparently there was a crazy earthquake on the east coast that spread all over the place. not very far west though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That what I thought here in DC, this is our second...2012 here we come

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"I'm in Wisconsin, we don't get earthquakes." You could say the same about the states that were hit on the east. That's why it's so crazy.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Some parts of NC felt it. I did, but my Dad is at his school 5 minutes away by car and only one building felt it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I live in southern wv and didnt feel a thing..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm in Brooklyn, and I felt it. I was deadass about to grab my dogs and run out of my building LOL.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was right there under it down in DC right next to VA where it actually hit

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The epicenter was in Mineral, Virginia. And who says we don't ever make the news.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

hahaha

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm in VA where it was centered.. everyone went ape shit.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I live in Washington.....what earthquake?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's on the east coast.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

An earthquake in South Africa. Right.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How the hell is Will and Jada trending above Earthquake?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I felt it, but I lost my earthquake virginity a while ago.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Nope. I live in Florida, I didn't even know there had been an earthquake until I came on amirite...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I live in Florida, and except for the sound of a storm getting closer there's nothing interesting happening. Why don't we get an earthquake i'm sure we've deserved it?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ikr, we deserve to be rendered homeless at the hands of a natural disaster too. frown

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I slept through it. But everyone else in my building felt it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Mom felt it, I was at school and missed it. But, I lost my "earthquake virginity" in 5th grade.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

sounds more like earthquake molestation

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This post is a great opportunity to find out where everyone lives.

by Anonymous 12 years ago
