I can vouch for the fact that it hurts like hell when said nerf gun is rigged with a rubber band to shoot more rapidly, and the bullet hits you in your open eye. It happened to me, and I couldn't open my eye for hours. After that, my dad made me wear his shooting goggles whenever I went to my friend's nerf war (don't judge the fact that my friends and I have nerf wars...)
