You never stop having glasses once you get them..

laser eye surgery? contacts?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Laser eye surgery goes to the extreme, and you can't wear contacts all the time. You still have to wear your glasses sometimes.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I wear my contacts all day, take them out when I sleep, and put in new ones in the morning. Sometimes I wear my glasses when I'm not leaving the house all day or something, but theoretically someone could just use contacts without needing glasses.

I wear mine 24/7, even sleep in them. But when my eyes get irritated, often it is worse than someone who wears your contacts like you (the correct way) and I have to wear my glasses for days. Without contacts in, I can't see anything clearly a foot in front of me. So I do need glasses and will for the rest of my life. And yes, theoretically someone could just use contacts. It's not recommended though.

i have extended wear contacts. you put them in, leave them in for a month, take them out, toss them out, put in new ones. it's the best. no glasses any more for me :)

False. My dad had glasses for two years and then his eyes corrected themselves. It's a common thing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It is? I thought that it was supposed to be the other way around, where your eyes gradually get worse. Not your eyes gradually get better.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It depends on how bad your vision is. If your grade is less than 100, it can still be corrected to but above 100, it will just gradually go higher and higher.
