by Anonymous 13 years ago

says Hitler.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Right on! :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, I don't know, Hitler. Your previous ideas weren't that great...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Your mamas ideas werent that great

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What an idiotic statement. You may not be able to marry a man, but you can marry the person you love. Homosexuals can't. Does it still seem fair?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

technically he is right you know matter what orientation one maybe they can not marry the same sex and so what if someone can't "marry" in a church a civil union is the same thing as being legally married. so they have the rights every one else has their marriage is just not recognized by A RELIGION.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(give it a chance): civil unions don't give you all the same benefits as marriage.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(give it a chance): but that's the thing, it's not the same as being legally married. you don't get the same tax and employment benefits with a civil union as you do with a marriage license.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(give it a chance): It's degrading to call it a civil union. I'm not going to ask my girlfriend to form a civil union with me, am I? The whole concept is ridiculous. Churches don't have to recognize your marriage; homophobes will be homophobic either way, and churches are always (and have always been) allowed to discriminate against anyone they want to. It doesn't make it right, but the government itself shouldn't participate in the same kind of xenophobia.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Um, is this supposed to be some twisted form of irony considering you're "Hitler" ?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Even though this is the oldest counterargument against gay marriage in the book, it's technically right.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ya i just think this post is just ASKING to stir up a debate

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It just pains me how two people of the opposite sex who hate each other can get married, but two people of the same sex who love each other can't. It's wrong. Everyone deserves the right to marry whomever they love as long as they're of legal age and the love is consensual.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That is true, but would you really want to marry a guy if you were straight...?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

hes hitler... he does things impulsively

by Anonymous 13 years ago

this is stupid

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahahahahahaha truee dat...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Im pissed that we cant get married in n.y. Of all places. Its the city of gays. U can do anythin u want in ny but have a same sex marriage.ugh

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow. Why does it matter if you are gay, straight, or bisexual? Everyone on here "apparently" agrees that it is okay yet people CONTINUE to debate about it. If you can't marry in your country then leave, why would it matter anyways? You don't need papers to show that you love someone. Just love them. If someone says something, tell them to jack off, it isn't their business.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh yes, because leaving one's family, friends, job and home just to be able to marry the person they love would be very convenient :/ And sure, you don't need papers to show you love someone, but marriage provides a lot of benefits.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lois said that in family guy :3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You have the right to marry the one you love. Gays don't.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

'Hitler' is right, well, I never thought I'd make that statement, however he is completely ignorant and verging on homosexuals. Gay people cannon marry who they love, and that is bullshit. Love should not have limits and restrictions.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, please, Hitler. We all know you were in the closet.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It doesn't matter if a straight man can't marry a random other man, what matters is that he CAN marry the person he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with, and a gay man can't. :( (I know someone already said this, but still)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's worth repeating. :)

I knew this gay couple, they'd been together over 30 years. One came home from work one night, tripped and hit his head (on a table I believe) I don't know the full extent of his injuries but at the hospital they 1) wouldn't let his bf in the room and 2) needed consent for whatever reason. His family that he hadn't spoken to in over 30 years couldn't be gotten ahold of for hours. By the time they got ahold of someone he was on life support. Their choices were to perform some surgery or pull the plug. They hated him for being gay. They killed him. His bf of 30+ years wanted them to do the surgery hours before then and he would have been fine. After he was dead the doctors were talking in the hall where his bf was since he wasn't allowed in the room and one mentioned something about if he was an organ donor. The bf said yes he is. The doctor said 'we weren't talking to you.' .... If they were married, he'd still be alive.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This statement is both correct and incorrect. While it is true they have the right to marry the same group of people, it isn't the same because gays can't marry who they love.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't know why you people keep stating that this post is right - because in all reality, it's NOT. Just because YOU can't marry the same sex, and a GAY person can't marry the same sex, doesn't mean you have the same rights. A straight person can marry the person they love - a homosexual person cannot. Get your facts straight, you just seem ignorant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why dont you think of it this way? im straight i can marry the person i love....then im a homosexual i cant marry the person i love because its frowned upon..i mean just because someones gay why cant they marry if you think its gross for 2 men to make love well its not like youll be in the same room asthem when they do and its not like homosexuals are they reason your spouse left, your daughters a whore, you didnt get a job or u got fired or the reason why you are in debt why cant people just let love be what im saying is gays arent goiing to effect your life in major ways just because they are gay

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thats terrible! homosexualism isnt a bad thing at all im straight but still!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A marriage is one man and one woman

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@480073 (Ross): You're wrong. It's that simple.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fuck you. Closed-minded homophobe.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Damn.. Im so lost.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The funny thing is, marriage was originally a Religious concept. So, the fact that it does not allow gays to marry makes sense because, well religions do not promote homosexuality. but, in the end, even though I am no pro-homosexuality, I don't care what they do because it doesn't effect me.
