+171 Those who work in retail: there must be some kind of unspoken law dictating that customers can't arrive at steady intervals, but only in packs, amirite?

Steady intervals pissed me off when I was a cashier. I liked cleaning and straightening things up and then get hit with a rush because I liked to see how fast I could get everybody out.

They hunt in packs.

Quite honestly I hate it when it's an achingly slow but steady stream. That way I can never take a breath or change activities for a minute. I'd rather finish off a whole pack at once and then do something else, like clean up my area.
