It's losing... if you quit right before you lose, then that's like losing. If you quit before you win, then you still don't get credit for about to win. It's like this, if you're in the middle of a race and you decide to quit, chances are you won't end up in the top 3 "winners" everyone else is a loser, so you're part of that clusterfuck of losers

If you are playing a game online and decide to quit early, it still gets recorded as a win for your opponent and a loss for you, as well as a DNF.
