+596 Place the elderly in prisons. They will get a shower a day, video surveillance in case of problems, medications, hours of private time, three meals a day, access to a library, medical and dental care, computer, TV, gym ... Put criminals in nursing homes. They have cold meals, lights off at 9 p.m., one bath a week, have no private time, live in a smaller room, and pay 2,000+ a month, amirite?

I'd still take my chances with a nursing home. I don't know why, but jail just doesn't ring.

This sounds like an economic fix, kinda.

Gee which nursing home is this... thats shocking...i work in a nursing/resthome and that aint right... our staff have hearts and we love our residents like they were our own family, the person who started this should drop a name as it give...s the GOOD caregivers a bad name..after all it is the caregivers who work their ass off to ensure the needs of our residents have been meet to the best of our ability and for very little pay and we dont see the $2,000 a week...Just thought id stick up for The dedicated caregivers out there
