I wasn't sure of this either so i looked it up; basically they are overpriced shoes that tbh aren't all that nice, but when you buy a pair they send a pair of shoes to a child in need.

They're actually super comfy. I don't have and but I want them just because I like how they fit and feel. Plus the charity bit is nice.

They're über comfortable. Not as comfortable as my moccasin booties but still comfortable. And the black ones go with everything.

I don't care about the charity anymore- I think they're ugly and uncomfortable. I'll donate shoes myself when I can afford to.

So they cost $40 on average, but only cost $3 to make. So by selling one pair, the company still makes $34 in profit. The children who receive the shoes soon grow out of them. It seems like it would be more humanitarian to donate a larger portion of the profits to community development or something like that. Also, they use sweatshops in Argentina to make them...
