Remember when there were wars and bombings, and everything that can happen now also happened back then? Most people will view their generation as 'the happiest generation' because generally children don't understand the problems that happen at the time. I grew up in both the 90s and 00s and remember the Twin Towers collapsing - although I understand more now I didn't get the extent of what happened at 6 years old. I'm not saying children can't be unhappy, but generally bad times aren't recognised as much when you're younger.

But yes, I've got good memories of the '90s and amazing memories of the '00s and '10s too. Hopefully when I'm older I'll remember the good things that happened as well as the bad.
