Australian accents: the sexiness of British accents without the snobby element. amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Australian accents are terrible!
by Anonymous12 years ago
I always thought Australian accents sounded like retarded English accents.
There's this Australian girl in my class, and I have no idea what she's saying half the time.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I thought this post was being addressed to Australian accents at first

Australian accents sound more snobbish to me.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Classy not snobby

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BRITISH ACCENT. THERE ARE VARYING ACCENTS ALL ACROSS BRITAIN. THE ACCENT EVERYONE THINKS WE HAVE IS PROBABLY ONLY USED BY THE QUEEN.

by Anonymous12 years ago
Hells yeah the New Zealand accent is sexy! Whooo go the Kiwi's! :D
PS, i'm from NZ :P
by Anonymous12 years ago
I'm sooo jealous. I really want to live in NZ for a while. I'm from stupid America. Lame. I once met someone who thought NZ was in europe. I'm ashamed of my country. =)
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oooh come on over to NZ then! Its such a great place! :P
Haha its okay! I once met someone who thought NZ was in America... So I think you're good.
I must say though its always been a dream of mine to go to the states some day. I'm planning a holiday to go in maybe 3 years time? :)
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oh wow. That's *really* sad. =) and I wish! It's my dream to study abroad there in college.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Wow really? Well Its a really small country (only 4 million in the whole country, lol) and there actually isn't that many Universities here. There only like 4 or 5, only in the main cities... But the education is great! Hopefully one day you can make it here! :)
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yeah, it's not very big. But I just love the attitude of people there. My camp counselors were from NZ and they were so chill and they said most of the people there are like that too. =)
by Anonymous12 years ago
Haha yay its good to hear positive stuff! Well everyone here where i'm from (nouth island) is really chill. Buuuuuut... go down to the south island and people there are even chiller! I loved living down there :)

This may not be the smartest question ever, but in schools, do they teach new Zealand history more, or world history?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Hahaha no its a fine question! They teach NZ history if you take history and geography in highschool. But in university i'm sure they teach world history! :P
by Anonymous12 years ago
So you don't take world history in high school?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Nope. There's really no such thing.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Wow! So you just study the history of NZ?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Lol in highschool yepp. But I never did cause I never took history. I'm in the sciences part of school. :P
by Anonymous12 years ago
It's possible to not take history? Now I REALLY want to live there. Lol =)
by Anonymous12 years ago
Lol yeah? Like in your last year of highschool you can pick whatever 5 subjects you want to do. I picked Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Statistics!
It doesnt work like that from where you are??
by Anonymous12 years ago
There's a certain number of credits we need from each subject. I guess if you finish them you can take whatever you want in our senior year. But are you sayin you never took history?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Lol. Wow that's so complicated. And yes. I have never ever studied history in high school. Surprised? Haha
by Anonymous12 years ago
Yes! Surprised AND jealous! Are all high schools like that?
by Anonymous12 years ago
Lol, yep! All highschools here in NZ are like that :P
I've never studied history, geography, economics or accounting in my whole entire life Haha
by Anonymous12 years ago
OMFG! What is wrong with America?! so what classes DO you take? Please tell me you have to take some kind of math. If not, im moving to new zealand RIGHT NOW.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Hey sorry for the late reply.. I'm in the middle of exams right now. Anyways, Maths. Yeah maths is optional the last 2 years of highschool... So i guess its not that bad. It divides into Statistics and Calculus in the last year. I did stats this year :)
MOVING TO NZ YET? :P
by Anonymous12 years ago
WHY AM I NOT THERE?! The stupid plane tickets cost 1500 dollars. And I don't have a job yet, so I can't even save up. Grrrrrrrrr... What's it like physically?
