I, personally, don't really like first person shooters to begin with. But with COD it just seems to be the same thing over and over again. 60 bucks for a 8-10 hour story plus repetitive online play ain't for me. :/

it has the same graphics as modern warfare 2. the story of pretty much all of the call of duty games are terrible. instead of using different weapons they went back to the ones from cod4. they try to make people excited about a game by saying they TOOK THINGS OUT like commando and last stand. the only thing they really did differently is add some perks to change the counters and balance the game a little more. it should be an expansion, not a 70 dollar game

Commando was taken out because it was a hated perk. Last stand is a death streak in it. The graphics are much more updated. The gameplay and gaming experience are much better. They added new guns, new attachments, new killstreaks, and completely revamped the way experience and equipment is gained.

the graphics are not updated, i'm not talking about small changes, i would have liked to see a much better looking game especially considering battlefield's recent release and aesthetics. guns, attachments, and killstreaks are expected to be changed, but even with those changes the game still plays the same. it feels like, as far as multiplayer goes, they have changed the skins and names of the guns, and kept all the same stats. i'm not saying that the game is completely the same, i'm saying that they have only changed small amounts to make the fan base like it is something new. i stand by the fact that i think it should be an expansion.

Did you ever play the actual game or just the leaked version? Also, did you play it on a console or pc? Those are both big factors.

i don't think it makes a difference since in the last week before release a company can't make any changes to the game and are more focused on distributing to all the right stores, but i'll bite, i have only played the leaked version so far as the real one just came out today. i also played on console as if that makes difference, but w/e, i want to see how you would use this in your rebuttal

Well, if the leaked version came out earlier that would mean a lot of things would be needed to be worked out. If it was on a PC the gaming experience would be totally different. I guess it's just a matter of opinion.

the leaked version has no differences other than the manual in the real box. also, since i have played all of the call of duty's on console, i can consider that to be the only platform i work on and therefore i have nothing to compare the newest cod to other than it's prequels on the same platform. if you can think of a way to convince me that this call of duty is anything but an expansion, i would be impressed

I couldn't convince you. It's impossible to change an opinion that is dead set against something unless you can prove them wrong. I can't prove that the gameplay is new and different because that is an opinion and opinions are neither right or wrong.

I'm not going to pay $65 for an over hyped expansion pack. I already got BF3 for my shooter fix and am gonna get Skyrim. Not wasting my money on MW3

What you spend your money on is up to you. If you don't want to get the game, don't get it. I didn't need all these comments about why anybody isn't getting it and what games are better. Everybody has a different opinion, especially when it comes to games.
