I normally just bring a towel/wash cloth though mostly cause my mom always insisted I would bring one XD that is, if I know I'm staying over somewhere

Use water to lather it in your hands and spread the body wash with your hands. If you use a washcloth because it exfoliates, well, just deal with it for one day.

I'm ready for the cool story bros: This one time, I went to a friends house after our soccer game and I was taking a shower when I heard her step-dad (who hates me) ask her if anybody was in the bathroom. She said "yeah, Shannon's in there." And then he flipped out and screamed "Shannon?! What the hell is she doing in our shower?!?!" Never again will I shower at a friend's house.

If you're that concerned about using the wrong stuff, just bring your own. My favorite part of using someone else's shower is trying new shampoo!

Just use your hands to wash your body. That's what I do at my own house anyway and it's just less of a hassle all around.
