In a non-conceited way, yes, I do often have those conversations, and it's quite irritating. Except I don't end it like that, I usually say "Oh, uh, you don't get it... nevermind I'm being a dork."

Hey, quit being so technical about it and just enjoy the humor.. I obviously don't tell people they're idiots to their faces. I passive aggressively get over it anonymously on the internet.
