Eh. I don't there is a "key" to wearing makeup. Everybody wears it for different reasons so similarly, everyone's going to wear it differently. I think the "key" is to be comfortable.

Agreed I'm a makeup artist so for me it's a form of self expression, a chance to be daring and fun. Thats what makes me feel beautiful. isn't that really the point? To give a boost of confidence?

Yeah, whatever floats your boat, really. The problem is where people DEPEND on make up and such for confidence… but I see nothing wrong in people wearing make up that doesn't look "natural".

Just because someone can tell you have makeup on doesn't make it automatically ugly. Some people wear makeup to enhance their natural features, and some people wear it because its fun or makes a statement. Just because someone likes to wear bold makeup doesn't mean they "don't get it".
