-190 Girls: sometimes instead of eating something like a brownie or a cookie all at once, you will eat pieces of it through out the day because that way you feel less guilty. amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Why would eating a cookie make you feel guilty? Did you steal it? Go give the owner their cookie back and apologize.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Wow, I didn't realize people would interpret my post like you did; I guess I should have been more clear. What I meant is that for example, I buy a brownie when I really shouldn't have because I just had one the other day or whatever. So instead of eating it all at once (within 1 minute) I eat small pieces of it from morning till like evening. That way it feels like I am eating a smaller portion (less calories) when actually it is the same brownie (mind trick)...I guess my friends and I are the only people that do this sometimes.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I still don't see the relation between having previously eaten a cookie and guilt.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Or you are just being sarcastic...

Are you a girl? This post was for girls

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Good to know. Now I have a good excuse for devouring all my candy.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol, I had no idea...I guess I will just have to suck it up and eat my brownie all at once.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Psh, I eat it all. And then grab about another five cookies to have immediately after. This is how I keep my six pack.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't have an eating disorder so no.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Did anybody actually read my post...:-S

by Anonymous 12 years ago

you shouldn't feel guilty for eating. You should feel guilty for over eating but not just a snack.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You feel guilty about eating a cookie because you had one the other day. That kind of sounds like an eating disorder.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Did you mean to reply to op? This new comment system is confusing

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah, and yeah.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You guys do realize that I said "at least once" and not every single meal...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You didn't say at least once you said all at once

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That is true, I clearly can not read my own post properly...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Fuck that, I eat the whole damn thing

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Nope. I eat the whole thing. And when I want another cookie later, I go get another and eat all of it. Most girls are not calorie concious.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Rarely, but sometimes I'll tell myself "It's okay, I'll just have this part now and save the rest for tomorrow" but then end up eating it all at once.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Girls aren't the only ones who are conscious of what they eat.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Um you do realize you are still getting all of the brownie, so why trick yourself? Lol that's pretty dumb. Enjoy that! I feel guilty leaving any cookies or brownies left for others.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I do realize that but it is totally a psychological trick when you eat small portions through the day. Also, I said "at least once" and not everyday....

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You said all at once. But it still doesn't make sense to me. I feel it's not as enjoyable for me personally. Something as small as a brownie or cookie shouldn't be eaten in small intervals. That's kind of weird. Maybe something larger, yes, but you can indulge occasionally and still eat well and have a balanced diet without tricking yourself.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I totally understand what you are saying. I should have been more clear in my post- I really meant to say "at least once". Believe me....this is definitely not a recurring thing I do. If you give me a monster chocolate cookie or a steak dinner I will devour it. I just thought that others did the "little piece by piece thing" once in a while (meaning like once a year) and actually 78 other people have and I guess the rest of you guys have never done anything like it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Oh okay, gotcha. Haha yeah the way I interpreted it was just different. I'd definitely try that sometime just to see how it goes, but I have little self control when it comes to food. Aha if it's good, I usually can't stop eating it!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I heard eating small portions burns more fat than eating a big giant portion. so 5 meals a day (smaller meals) are better than 3 giant meals, even if the calorie intake is the same

by Anonymous 11 years ago

lolol it doesn't burn more fat, unless you're thinking that more chewing burns more calories or something. Having small meals with time in between lets your body digest the food more thoroughly and prevents you from putting on MORE fat.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

well, acording to your logic, if you're allowed to digest more thoroughly, wouldn't you get MORE fat? you would be able to get more nutrients before getting rid of it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Fuck that. I eat what I want, when I want.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I also eat what I want, when I want. I said "once" in my post not every meal of my life.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I don't get why there's so many "No Ways" on this post. I'm sure we've all done it at least once. This isn't really all that strange...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I know! I guess people just chose to ignore the "at least once" part. Also, people are even making comments like, "well I don't have an eating disorder.." That is not what I meant at all! Oh well...

by Anonymous 11 years ago

LOl! I'm guessing that everyone that clicked No Way on this post must be American...
