-57 This is for a stats project, please help. You exercise at least 3-5 days per week, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If I do more then 5, should I vote it up or down?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The words "at least" mean you would vote this up, you sexy body builder, you.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

*blushes*

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How vigorously?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Moderate

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Whats moderate? Like walking? Or doing 10 push ups?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I wish I took the time to actually exercise more often, but I'm lucky if I have time to just go for a walk.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well I wouldn't, but PE class is always there to help! y

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Same here. And the occasional yelling of my mom to get on the treadmill for 30 minutes

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Unfortunately, yes :P

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I walk 6 miles every day

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Does masturbation count?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Does mayonnaise count?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

does pe class count

by Anonymous 12 years ago

As long as you actually try.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

hmm If you're using "at least", then why do you include a maximum in your range? One could just say at least 3 days per week and the results will be exactly the same.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This is the internet. We don't need your logic here.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

But on the internet, do we need any of these comments? Or on the contrary, do not all these comments contribute to how successful or popular this site is? My comment is just as much needed as your comment to my comment.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What if your teacher asks you who participated in the survey? "Well, let's see... there was DandyLion, and Nacklefoodle, and favvkes..."

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And Voldemort. She'll probably think you're crazy by then.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Do sports count? I do conditioning for lacrosse every Monday and Wednesday and I have wrestling every Tuesday and Thursday and I wieght lift Monday - Friday

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That'd be a yes.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Voluntary response bias.....

by Anonymous 12 years ago

HA! I haven't exercised since September...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Of '96

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know this has a lot of bias haha and it's obviously not done perfectly but I needed it for the project. It's not the whole thing, we have to do a lot of smaller stats things to piece together a project. It's confusing to explain but thanks everyone for helping!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Always at least six times a week. At least this semester.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's kinda sad that this post as a negative score..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I actually think it's sad that people think it's sad for this post to be negative. Because the nations (not all) have gotten populations so overweight and unhealthy, they need exercise outside of their normal routine and work. This didn't use to be true a few decades ago, and it hasn't ever been true for any species other than humans. Inb4 "why so serious".

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's why I said it was sad, because the population is more overweight now...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, you're sad that a lot of people vote NW, but I'm sad for the fact that it's bad to vote NW on this nowadays. A few decades ago people didn't do shit outside their normal lives and they'd be perfectly healthy, nowadays they're so unhealthy they NEED to jog or walk or exercise or work out just to feel okay/healthy enough.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Everyone should exercise. It doesn't matter what year it is

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No animals other than humans need anything outside their normal lives nowadays (or ever). No one should //have// to exercise extra, they've only made themselves so unhealthy and lazy that they NEED to exercise extra just to stay normal. It's this society.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well humans are a bit different from birds and cats...it's not society either. Sure, people are getting bigger and more unhealthy. But just because you eat healthy doesn't mean you're in shape. If you don't exercise muscles, you'll lose them and won't be healthy, like in the heart or any other part of the body...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Who said this was food´s fault? It's the lifestyle. Every day every single new piece of technology made is done so to make people move less muscles, no one even walks more than 4 steps a day anymore.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Hm I'm pretty sure I walked more than 4 steps at school today. I'm not sure though.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ohh gotcha. People back then didn't exercise??

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Exactly. And they were still fit. It still happens now in some countries which can't afford all the unnecessary technology America has got.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't even...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You don't what?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Understand you. They were 'fit' cause they had to walk EVERYWHERE to get what they needed to survive. That's still exercise, it's just not exercise where you go to a gym. Basically I'm saying everyone needs to exercise. It's not like we evolved but didn't need to 100 years ago.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I know, I thought you meant the often-used definition of exercise which means going to the gym or some shit. The post is asking exactly for that, even though a person who walks everywhere just to get to places wouldn't vote YYA, since they don't jog or lift weights or something. They live normally, they don't work out, they don't //need// to do it 3-5 times a week, and that's how everyone used to live. Now everyone's fat, lazy and unfit.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Were you personally a part of fitness surveys in the 1800s?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ono Were you personally alive 70 years ago? No? Then how do you know WWII was going on? It probably wasn't. You didn't see it with your own eyes. Because as we all know, the only true facts are ones we see with our own eyes. http://ctrlv.in/55968

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Generally the healthiness of individuals isn't written about in textbooks...this is getting stupid and I'm wasting my time

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, this has JUST gotten stupid after your last couple responses. It had been a good argument just before that, and now you're just talking bullshit and not "understanding" the simplest things. And if you'd like to know how I know, it's //not// ONLY the fact that we can fucking know cultural things from the past, (and by the way the textbooks aren't the only source of information) but because I lived in such a country that I've described. There's no fucking cars for every 2 people, there is maybe one for every 4 families. We walk places, we bike for fun, we play outside instead of playing World of Warcraft, we don't have fucking computers and iPhones for every single person alive in the city, and so we do things other than sitting. An American wakes up, sits at the table, stuffs his face with bullshit food, goes outside maybe 3 steps, or into the garage, sits on his ass in the car or bus for an hour, takes 3 steps to the building, sits on his ass in the office or classroom, takes the 3 steps back out of the building, goes sits in the car/bus, gets home and sits on his fucking ass watching TV/internet. And stuffs his face. Yes, I AM getting offensive now, I'm just really angry now

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Does walking up my stairs count ?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If that counts, then I exercise every day, at least 10 times a day. (:

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Eight times a week for 2 hours each-vigorously. why do I do this to myself

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think you are referencing masturbation. You naughty boy hello

by Anonymous 12 years ago

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Its my new years resolution to start working out 3-5 times a week... i just started... so do i vote up or down?

by Anonymous 12 years ago
