+399 It's rather strange to see how many little children actually aspire to become doctors when they grow up. The only time they ever interact with them, they're getting stabbed in the arm by extremely sharp needles, gagged with popsicle sticks, hit on the knee with mallets, or getting felt up. amirite?

Now I'm questioning today's youth.

Or the doctors are saving the kids lives.... Thats why I wanna be a doctor.

*most kids Also kids (like 6) only associate the actions stated above with doctors as those are what they directly experience with them. You got to remember that most little children think the world revolves around them, so they aren't aware that doctors really are important to society and help other people besides them. Most kids, not all.

Or, you know, getting their lives saved. At 8years old I knew I wanted to be a doctor to pay it forward. For a lot of kids and teens it has to do with extreme interest in the human body.

Also some kids want to become doctors because they might be a frequent part if there life. Like going to the hospital on a regular basis and coming to recognized what they do can really change you. But i do understand he mentioned most... just another reason.
