+42 Has anyone notice that love doesn't even make sense anymore? It used to be people in love, getting married, getting children and etc. But now there are stupid cheaters and idiots that don't even appreciate how lucky they are with someone that is completely awesome! Sure they're not the sexiest, but they love you! amirite?

this couldn't be more wrong..cheating has ALWAYS existed, and infatution, lust, etc are not new concepts either! they've all always existed! this isn't some new phenomenon.

yes but there is more of that nao then in the past, isn't there?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

nope

What on EARTH do you base that on? This is from 2 years ago, but seriously...no...we KNOW about more of it, but that doesn't mean it's anything new. The marquis de sade and his friends were doing pretty crazy crap back in the 1700s. It's like the "crime wave" phenomena. When London set up the world's first modern police force, there were objections as people perceived a RISE in crime - no, it was actualy just that crimes were now being REPORTED. They'd always been happening, but no one reported them, there was no real record.

Well it's more pointed out in Television and internet

You wanna know what else was more common in your little romantic rose-colored spectacled past? Death by hanging, lack of women's rights, untold violence and abuse towards women who had no power or control, arranged marriages, discrimination, racism, segregation and other general crap. Your story is only true for some middle-class white people. Get real!

Preach!

Oh yes, the romantic courtship of arranged marriages to 14 year old girls. I miss those days.
