+207 Phones should have the option of different vibration patterns for different people that way when you're in a situation where it would be rude to take your phone out you would know if its worth looking at, Amirite?

Lol it's not the same but it gave me the idea. This is more like a ringtone as a vibration not a vibration telling you how long the message is

I found that feature on the iPhone 4S last night as an accessibility option. I don't know if other phones have that, though

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I like how it lets you create your own.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The 4 has it too.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

How do I get to it on the 4?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I always play with the custom vibrarion feature. Also, is it just me, or is there a slightly different tone of vibration depending on if you press higher on the screen or lower?

The 3GS has it as well, found out a couple of weeks ago, pretty sure it ha to be to the latest update though :p

@anon: It should be under Settings > General > Accessibility > Custom Vibrations @k_ninja: I don't feel any difference. If there is, it would be very, very slight. I think the ripples are just decorative.

Thank you! It wasn't there though. hmm may have something to do with Verison iPhones being slightly different than other iPhones... Or not I don't know

Phones USED to have those. My old flip phone had different pulse patterns. My smartphone? Nope. Doesn't make sense.

My smartphone doesnt have silence. It can obly vibrate and thats loud as hell. My last smart phone had the same thing. I miss my Alias2 :(

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I've never heard of a phone not having a silent option...odd.
