don't they, like, protect the tops of your toes? I focused on the pinkytoe because the nail surface-area on that one is so tiny it's ridiculous. Ok I just did some research, and it turns out that toenails don't have much of a purpose at all. O.O

Mine are pointless because I make sure they are nice and trimmed :)

Agreed. They're useless, but you have to admit, it'd just bee weird if all of your toes had nails EXCEPT the pinkies
