Well I think (for me) it's more of the fact that she likes girls and I don't. We would never be together because of our different sexuality. But if a guy friend liked me and I kind of liked him, I might give it a chance. Either he could say he likes you, and it would never be the same, or you could date him (and if you broke up) it would never be the same. At least the guy would get a chance..

I would feel uncomfortable being on different wavelengths with her. This actually happened to me. The captain of the girls rugby team was making moves on me, and we couldn't be friends anymore. And I had to change with her in the locker room every day.

Happened to me last year. No biggie. We're still best friends. Don't see the problem as long as it is understood by both parties.

As long as you let them know you don't like them in that way it's fine. It's not like nothing will be the same again because she's been having a crush on you. You just didn't know. There's guys I don't like that like me and we're still friends. The only reason why 'it can never be the same again' for some people is that guys can get pushy and not want to be friend zoned.
