+213 Girls are actually the one's who don't make sense when it comes to being 'straight-up' because we never tell the other significant what is actually on our minds. Ladies, guys don't have super-powers and can't read minds, amirite?

And when it comes to subtle hinting, I'm clueless.

Ohoho, internalised misogyny. Stereotyping females and rolling your eyes going "women, eh? Don't know what they want" isn't okay just because you're a woman also...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm pretty sure it is.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

yeah im pretty sure it is too

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, it is not. Read up on "internalisation". http://persephonemagazine.com/2011/10/marilyn-monroe-feminist-icon/

yeah i saw that part but i dont hate on other women. This is just something i've noticed. Whats your point Chou?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm not saying you're hating on other women. I'm just saying, you're reinforcing misogynistic views (likely without intending to). Calling women irrational is a very common way to shift blame and try to shut women up by triviliasing their views. This post is about that - saying that women are irrational, confusing, overly-emotional, expect too much from poor blameless men. I'm sure you didn't mean all that, but when you say things like this, that's very much what it sounds like. I'm not trying to start a fight or insult you. I'm just saying, internalised misogyny is a thing.

ahhhh... sweetie you think too much. Stop jumping to conclusions and stop analyzing every little detail. SMH! Again.. its something I've noticed and also can relate to. Don't worry, not insulted in anyway. Your very.... insightful. lol.

Well, I'm sorry you think that way, considering it is your rights I am trying to defend. But hey, thanks for remaining civil anyway. :)

Speek for yourself not all females as a whole. I tell my boyfriend what's on my mind and he does the same to me, then you can usually talk about it without tension building up and ending in a giant argument.

(: thats good. But of course i'm not saying all females as a whole. More like... in the beginning stages of a relationship. It works both ways but so far a lot of ladies I know can agree with me.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think we should just all agree people as a whole are very confusing, and not specify genders.

loll... AMEN. (:
