+261 It'd be great if there were headphones that would adjust the volume based on the noise in your environment. For example, if you're in class and everything's quiet, your volume would be soft enough so that other people couldn't hear your music. Or if you're in a noisy subway station, your music would get louder so you could hear it over the crowd. The volume could even adjust automatically based on how soft or loud each song is, amirite?

Volume control. It's manual though. Usually comes on every music playing device including some styles of headphones.

The key word is "automatic"

Yes but people have preferences. Maybe that kid in class wants to be obnoxious and wants everyone to hear his music. Maybe that person on the subway wants to listen to quiet music. There are some things in life which we just have to attend to. Automatic everything doesn't always work.

They wouldn't just guess what volume you wanted them at, you could set them based on room volume so they could still automatically adjust, just to your own personal preferences.
