Don't get me wrong. I like Coldplay, but everyone enjoys different styles of music.

I dislike Coldplay. I don't think their music is as original as people think it is and I just don't really feel anything when I listen to them. I can certainly understand why people love them, and I can also understand how someone could hate them simply based on the fact that they're kind of everywhere and that can get annoying after a while if you already don't like them.

I'm totally all right with people not liking them. But hate is a strong word haha.

Yeah I can understand that. I don't really think you should say you hate someone who's trying to do something beneficial, like making music that some people enjoy, but to each his own I guess.
