+205 If someone is so pro-life or pro-child then they should adopt one that is already here, that's very alone and unwanted, amirite?

If we do, you have to stop murdering the innocent

because making abortion illegal will stop abortions. In case no one's learned from history, you can't make something that is legal illegal. When the 18th amendment was passed, drinking just got worse and was usually in a non-controlled environment. The same would go with abortion. It would still occur, just in a non-controlled environment. At least with it being legal, it can be performed by a doctor who knows what they're doing instead of a teenager who's just desperate to get rid of their baby. I know a girl who had her boyfriend jump on her stomach for 2 hours to make sure the baby was dead because her mom wouldn't let her get an abortion. People will do potentially fatal things to themselves just to get rid of a baby.

If the baby is human, then abortion is murder. Should we be worried about protecting murderer's?

If a woman has a Nuvaring, becomes pregnant, and the baby spontaneously aborts, is that manslaughter? Her actions caused the death of the baby, just not directly like abortion. What about if she drinks before she knows she's pregnant and the baby comes out mentally challenged, is that abuse?

really, what this whole argument comes down to is your definition of "human." Is my finger a human? It has the same number of cells and the same ability to think as an embryo in its early stages. If I cut off my finger, am I murdering a human life?

I completely agree that it comes down to the definition of what is human. But your finger doesn't have the DNA to become a new adult. Embryo's have unique DNA; your finger has the same DNA as any other part of your body

Not everyone who disagrees with abortion can afford to adopt. It's kind of like saying everyone who is "green" minded should purchase a plot of rainforest
