+292 You look at the new fads goin around and you wonder howww in the world THAT got started, amirite?

That's what I thought when everyone started getting feathers in their hair.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think that started in the 70s

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I wasn't aware of that, as I wasn't alive during that time (nor did I really care to research it). I'm referring to this past spring and summer. Suddenly, nearly every girl in my town got feathers in their hair. Personally, I thought they looked ridiculous, but I guess they're okay if you're going for that Jack Sparrow look.

Nah I'm just saying its really deep rooted and turning into a trend again.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ah, okay then :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, started in the 20s or earlier. But it was just worn differently.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I cannot stand this trend. I spent the entire summer/fall hoping it would die out as soon as possible.

Like yoga pants or leggings? Put some pants on.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well if they are called yoga pants, I'm pretty sure they have pants on.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Please keep your pants off at all times, thanks.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes! I never liked the whole feathers thing. And tights are NOT pants! Gosh!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It was probably done by accident by the person who started it. For example, pants being below the underwear. The person probably forgot his belt or something, or was wearing his grandpa's big jeans.

It started in prision when the criminals were not given belts in case of a suicide attempt.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That started in prison. The inmates aren't allowed to wear belts (safety reasons).

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They were afraid the inmates would get too kinky in the showers?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Socks with sandals. Ugh. That trend is just so stupid.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Thats not a trend. It's a crime.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's a fashion crime.
