Exactly. When I worked at a grocery store, I'd see some people (on welfare) spend $50 a **DAY** on lottery tickets.

I see it all the time at my work. I work at a gas station called QT and I'll get people who buy 40-80 bucks in snacks, pay with food stamps, and then buy beer and cigarettes with their unemployment card. Aggravates the hell out of me. That's why I secretly charge them extra on their snacks ;)

My dad and stepmom have foodstamps, and they spend so much damn money on cigarettes. It's like "REALLY NOW. IF YOU CAN AFFORD CIGARETTES, YOU REALLY DON'T NEED THAT FUCKING FOOD CARD EH? Give it to a poor person who actually can't afford things" -_____-

I'm not sure. I'm gonna say my dad gets 200 and my stepmom gets about 600. Plus they get SSI for my little sister who has a developmental disability.
