Most of the people who shared the Kony 2012 video probably can't even locate Uganda on a map, amirite?

This is one of the main reasons why I haven't shared anything about Kony. I don't care enough to do the research and find out what's really going on.

Lol that doesn't make you any better
by Anonymous12 years ago
I know. That's what the problem is.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Oh my gosh who fucking cares? Were spreading awareness! STFU anon.
by Anonymous12 years ago
You could just look it up on a map. It's to the right of the Congo... just sayin'.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I know where Uganda is. I just find it stupid that people are trying to prevent other people from spreading the video. Its awareness. Stupid or not everybody must know.

Something like this: http://ctrlv.in/70394

That awkward moment when you actually click it and nothing happens...

So?
They're not flying there to help, they're not sending things there by mail, they don't //need// to know the exact geographical location because it doesn't change anything. There are plenty of small countries that are hard to remember on a map, so what?
by Anonymous12 years ago
So?
The 'so' is that you should make an active effort to research a cause if you're going to get your panties in a bunch about it. Researching includes knowing where the conflict is located.
by Anonymous12 years ago
To be fair I suck at geography and wouldn't be able to point out half the places I've actually been to on a map.
by Anonymous12 years ago
The point of the video was to share it and get as many people to be informed about the situation and to spread the video as fast as possible. I also don't think you have to be educated in African geography in order to know that what Kony is doing is extremely wrong. Dumb hipsters...
by Anonymous12 years ago
These people are spreading the word so stop hating and try to make a difference like them
by Anonymous12 years ago
It shows you Uganda in the video, several times. Now calm down people. And I bet some of the people who whatched the video still think Africa is a country, and that's worse than not knowing where Uganda is.
Also, and this is COMPLETELY irrelevant, and I apologize, but nacklefoodle-facklenoodle is fun to say multiple times. Juss sayin
