+195 For an iPod, iPad, anything Apple fanatic, this is hard for me to admit but, apple products are great at first, and then they start having really annoying glitches after a while, amirite?

My phone was playing dead the other day. I had to do some special combination of home and power button pressing to get it to come back on. -_- and also my home button doesn't work sometimes.

Yeah, that has happened to me in the past with old ipods. What made me write this post is today my macbook's sound wouldn't work until i restarted it and my ipod lags when i try to take a screen shot so i miss a lot of my good draws on draw something :(

Actually, that's how I'd describe any Windows computer I've ever had. My Apple products always work perfectly.

Apple products are just overpriced modern-stylized remakes of other products that work just fine /if you know how to use them/. You can easily avoid viruses on Windows computers and prevent glitches and all if you looked it up with a simple Google search. You can easily make a Windows computer run faster with the right programs or even by hand, and the only thing that Apple has going for it is no crashes or viruses or anything (even their commercials heavily imply this, as I've never seen anything original a Mac has had that's better than a Windows and the only thing they advertise is no crashes or viruses). I do like their music players, though. Nice interfaces and very sturdy. Easy to use. But I'd never buy a Mac computer outside of a workstation, or an Apple brand phone ever, as they both cost too much anyways. But I guess that's not a bad thing so long as it keeps money circulating. Better economy and all. And I do admit that I can't wait for the Apple's brand of TV. I'd like to see what that's like...but I just hope it's reasonably priced. End rant, I guess.

Apple TV? It's already out, my family has one.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Oh really? I didn't hear anything about it. I'll have to check it out.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yeah they're out, but not well known. It's actually only $99 so it's decently priced.

Since you downvoted me: presentation is important. Products should work as advertised right out the box without any extra work on your part. Saying "you can prevent glitches on Windows computers by Googling something" is like saying "you can make a Big Mac taste better if you add imported sauce from France." The burden of making a good product should be on the company, not the consumer. I'm assuming you downvoted me because you think I just let my Windows computers become virus-ridden by clicking on sketchy porn downloads or something. I don't. All the Windows computers I own end up with serious driver problems that end up reducing their usability. Meanwhile my Apple products have never had any problems even after years of heavy use. By the way the iPhone 3GS only costs $49 right now, which is cheap compared to most other smartphones. The crux of your argument seems to be that Apple products work fine but they're overpriced, but that's not always the case.

No, really. It's that easy to prevent viruses. I just Googled "what program can I use to stop viruses" and I didn't even need a program to pop up. I found this. http://antivirus-software.topch...ruses_258.html That easy. And really you can't "burden" Windows with not being able to fully stop viruses. That's the whole point of them. To bypass security and do whatever the fuck they're supposed to do. Honestly it's only a matter of time because viruses creep their way into Macs. You guys don't have a magical force field from all viruses ever. I downvoted you because I find Apple products don't work that well over time. You're in the minority that never has a problem with them. But I don't agree that Apple products are near flawless. Not to say you implied that, but I just...disagree. The iPhone 3GS is cheaper because it's outdated. They come out with a BRAND NEW THING! every several months. Which I like, but it's getting ridiculous. There's the iPhone 4S now, which is $300. I got the Droid Bionic for 200 dollars less and it's just about the same in terms of content, and actually it comes with a small amount of more content.

My Ipod doesn't shut off even when I hold the button down, it just turns the screen off and then wastes my battery and there is no other way to turn it off and It annoys me to no end.

My iPad turns black randomly and I have to shake it for it to work again. And I know it is not falling asleep because it happens when I'm actually using it.
