No, I think it's a bit childish. My last boss was talking about a coworker once who was having a lot of problems and she remarked, "That makes you wonder what kind of person she is to have all those bad things happen to her."
Humans just don't like the idea that there are situations out of their control, and I think the concept of karma offers comfort. If feels like some sort of justice is being served. I can certainly see the appeal, but I just don't buy into it. But bad things happen to bad people as well as to good people. (Yes, I realize that's subjective.)

I like the idea of karma, but I don't really believe in it. I do believe in things such as, you reap what you sow, which is sort of like karma.
