+231 You wonder why you accept everything into the laws of reality while you dream, amirite?

We don't really have much experience with anything outside of the laws of physics so i guess it'd make sense that we would stick to it. For the most part anyway.

I had a dream that German Nazi soldiers were forcing me to name all of the original pokemon and threw things at me when I messed up. So yeah... You're right.

You can actually train yourself at becoming aware the dream is a dream, and not reality, by focusing on the laws of reality. You can do 'reality checks', like reading a piece of paper, then look away, look at it again, and see if it still reads the same words. You can also check it to make sure the words aren't blurry. Another one is to look at the clock, look away, and look again, and see if it changed or not. During these things in real life will make you more open to doing them when dreaming aswell, making you able to realize you're dreaming and letting you have lucid dreams. I've started training for it a few weeks ago, and it's already working; just look for things that are out of the ordinary in your dreams!
