Every generation is bold because every generation pushes and re-defines the boundaries of the previous generation, for example at one point it was 'bold' to show a little ankle.

How can you think of us as "unafraid"? We're so afraid all the time, but not of external dangers; we're afraid of our own societies, of not fitting in, of not being enough. We're under so much pressure all of the time, so eager to be fun, clever, and original... just take a closer look at this very site, amirite? Right?
