-93 Guys: You don't like it when girls announce that they have to pee. Please keep it to your self or at least say "Sorry I have to go to the Washroom", amirite?

I have to pee.

I don't like it if men do it either, I'd rather they just keep it to themselves.

If I'm with friends or family I'll say, "I have to pee," but if I'm in a formal setting(or serious, like school), I'll say, "I need to use the restroom."

by Anonymous 11 years ago

why is that offensive? it's not like you don't do it. at least they're telling you why they're leaving rather than just getting up and going.

Rather than sounding like an overly-apologetic women of 65, however, they could simply say "I'm going to the bathroom."

Why is that bad? It's a bodily function. What are you gonna say next? "That rude bitch. She fuckin sneezed. You don't just fucking do that in front of people"

Reminded me of something i read a while ago... "This is how thoroughly we women have been sexualized, that we cannot make the kind of noises that come with physical exertion without it being associated with sex. In fact, everything about our bodies has been sexualized in one way or another. If we groan during sport or we breast-feed in public, we are criticized for making people think about sex. If we talk openly about things like menstruation and poop and farts, then we are criticized for making people not want to think about sex. "

That's an interesting idea. But I don't think this post is saying that if men say it its okay. Its just a lot of times girls say it out of no where

by Anonymous 11 years ago

While it's acceptable for men to say that they "gotta take a piss"?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I admit to saying that , but I woul actually laugh out loud if a girl said that.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I say that because I'd rather have people know I'm peeing than think I'm pooping.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

...Why are they apologizing?

Are you like offended by pee or something? What's with the sensitivity towards urination? Any time I hear someone say they have to pee it's just another sentence to me. Saying you have to pee isn't vulgar in the slightest. I could understand if you'd dislike if someone narrated in a husky voice with detailed imagery of their need to defecate, but "I have to pee"? Yes, okay, girls pee. Yup. You read it right. Urine comes out of people of the female gender. Now that you can understand basic biology, you can stop being an immature child now. The last time I got offended by the word pee was in elementary school. Looks like you've got quite a long way to go.

I'm a girl & I hate saying "I have to pee" so I always just say that I have to use the bathroom. Except one time my friend said she used to think it meant I had to take a shit or something so I always hope no one thinks that

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Girls typically say this when they have to go number 2 because for some reason girls doing that is socially unacceptable and they don't want people to think that's what they're doing.

it is NOT just guys who hate this
