+370 When bright young minds can’t afford college, America pays the price. amirite?

Or, just young minds. Or young minority minds. Either one.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not all minorities are poor.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

minorities get more scholarships though.

Okay, well think of it this way. You have the money for college, and ten some, but would you rather spend your parents/your money, or get a scholarship and not have to worry about it?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

scholarship, but what you're saying is agreeing with me. . .

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, because I'm saying that they're not necessarily poor, but.... Oh forget it. My thoughts are in a jumbled mess.

As do the rest of the countries in the world...? Not just America.

The post wouldn't have rolled off the tongue very well if it said "when bright young minds can't afford college, the respective countries in which they are citizens will pay the price for their respective citizens missing out."

How about: When bright young minds can’t afford college, their country pays the price. amirite?...

My English teacher always did tell me I make things too wordy.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

is it just me, or is college, like, really expensive? actually not just really expensive, retardedly and absurdly expensive... something seems off about having to pay 20-30 grand a year just for education...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You'd think they would learn.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They probably would if they could afford college. >.>

by Anonymous 12 years ago

the college I'm going to go to is only 7 grand a year

by Anonymous 12 years ago

what college?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

University of Memphis

Private schools cost that much. Most public and state schools only cost a couple grand a year [which /is/ an only compared to most schools] It does get pricey when you get dorms involved, though. My sister's going to a state school with a scholarship so it's costing us about $4,000 a year, but with dorms, it's $16,000.
